The Eastern Sierra Pace and Scale Accelerator
2022 — 2025
The Eastern Sierra Pace & Scale Accelerator grant was awarded to the Eastern Sierra Council of Governments (ESCOG) with the intent to build local environmental planning capacity in the eastern Sierra. Beginning with the ESCCRP, the interdisciplinary team established through this grant will conduct necessary analyses and survey work to complete the NEPA, to help our federal partners meet the new pace and scale needs for restoration of public lands. This team will then be positioned to assist with environmental planning needs on future projects under the ESCOG’s Sustainable Recreation & Ecosystem Management Program.
Funding for this project is provided by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Proposition 1 Watershed Restoration Grant Program under the managing headwaters for multiple benefits priority.
